Big End Bearings Sorted- But Still Noisy!!!

for those who read one of my previous posts youll know i had an issue with my bottom end (oo-er.) apparently the shell on one of the bearings cracked, resulting in a 'card-in-the-spokes' type knocking sound. i got it sorted under warranty and i just got home from the garage and noticed the noise is still there, but its ALOT quieter than it was and you can only hear it in first after the engine has warmed up. when pulling away with the engine cooler you cant hear it.

the garage kept the car for a week after the job was done to run it in and they did 130 miles in it but they obviously couldnt hear it. ive done 30-40 miles in it and kept the revs below 3k as instructed by the garage.

the oil level is fine but theres a small leak in the rocker cover gasket. could this be causing a loss of oil pressure?

could the fact that i cant hear it when cold mean that the bearings sit in the oil when the engines cool, and as it warms up and pushes oil around the engine the bearings are no longer sitting in the oil and hence the noise? or could the leak mean the oil just isnt getting where it needs to go?

many thanks in advance, kristian
