I had a quote for a full respray for my 500 which was £1100 - not sure how much more it would be to do two colours admitedly. But FWIW I think it's a great idea but doesn't quite work as-it.

I might be getting a bi-colour next, think they look stunning, a 50's style mini Hot Rod! Bit Chip Foose if you ask me! :)

Hopefully I successed in attaching a picture of the ONLY Abarth 500c in Ireland. It is owned by Fiat Ireland and is 'lent' out to journalists as a PR exercise. This did it for me. I could live with the robotised gearbox. I read something (possibly on the US promotional video) that they're bringing in a double clutch so it would be a proper DSG. I think with the roof back you'll be able to properly hear the exhaust - no need then for a discussion on interscope, bose, etc. The lighter coloured wheels suit it better. My wife would love this.

I would be wary of a cheap respray like that, 1100 is astonishingly cheap and for that price you'd be wondering whether windows would be taken our and so on.....

I don't mind the red and white combo, though I wouldn't buy it. Doesn't it hark back to the 1950s ones?

That black and white one! I wouldn't be seen in it. :yuck:

Yes, i nearly bought an identical one to that to sell on. It was only £15,000, at 2 months old. Owner was emigrating and needed a quick sale! Anyway, the A500C will have the manual gearbox very soon i.e. within a month, maybe less. And the bi-colour will also be available on the tin top too (as will the auto box from the C) at the same time.

Not so keen on the black and white on the Abarth Convertible, but the 2 tone grey looks quite good - even better with the red coach line.

I've just seen a picture of a bi-colour in pale blue and white, nothing like as harsh as the red and white and much more attractive in my opinion. Still think it costs too much though.

I remember the 500c you're referring to. It was up on ebay and he was desperate to sell. I thought it was amazing value. It would really impressive the girlfriend with or without the gear shift

For some reason that reminds me of a taxi... I have no idea why though!
