Multipla Betsie Blue

1.9 Multijet Eleganza

Introduction

Betsie has been my ride since June 2021. My adult crotch-goblins mock her, my worse-half curses the time spent pampering her needs but my (favourite child) 10 year old adores her as do I.

We've done the steering rack joints, clutch, rear springs, front suspensions arms, tie-rod ends, brake cylinder, replaced handbrake cable, replaced bonnet release cable, replaced egr valve and map/pressure sensor, replaced ABS sensor, headlight assembly, replaced alloys, replaced engine mount, replace exhaust, installed Bluetooth module and Oogah horn.

Sadly it looks like she will need to be rehomed. 😭 Apparently 6 miles twice a day for the school run is not doing her constitution any good.

My traitor worse-half has given me Peggy-Peugeot (a 207) to use use for the school run while he gets Betsie into peak shape for rehoming. 🤬 He says a diesel motor needs the freedom of the open roads to survive and that keeping Betsie as a school runner is cruel.

Hello - might you still have your lovely multipla?? Or has she already been rehomed?? 🙏

I had EGR valve mapped out of mine and DPF deleted to make he last longer. Not good things to have on diesels. Local tuning companies can do. £160 bit of a favour. I had put new EGR valve on but still struggling.

Our 17 year old is having a "I need to buy a car, cannot been seen dead in our black MK2 once she passes her test"
Her older brother and sister took the "right of passage" in multis.

She is not keen on the red MK1 that is waiting to come back on the road either, even though it has sun roofs - that she loved when younger.

Luckily my better half and "her" dog love them both ...
