I got my 2016 Trekking last week and it came fitted with a tow bar ,which I have no use for and am removing .
I wondered where the best place to sell it was, Facebook marketplace, eBay or on here ?
I’m assuming postage on it would be very expensive as the same tow bar is selling new on eBay for about £300 plus another £80 for shipping .

I don't know about reselling, it might be a bit rusted? You know it replaces the crash bar behind the bumper?

Most useful bit might be the relay box in the boot.

It’s got a 02/23 production sticker (same as in the photos of the new ones on eBay) , so I don’t think it’s been fitted for too long, I’ll have a better idea when I get it off.
This a photo I took to find out what it was.
I’ve already sourced a crash bar to go on .

Sounds like you've got it all sorted; was the bumper cut? Or a hole cut for the wiring? (I threaded mine through the boot vents).

The bumper was cut for the fitting of the tow bar , it doesn’t really show from behind, the wiring was put though the vents on this install too.
