General Best phone mount

Having had a number of cars now with inbuilt navigation, I'm finding I'm missing having navigation on occasion. Helpfully my phone comes to the rescue. However, at the moment I'm having to balance it in the cup holders or on the passenger seat, which isn't ideal for looking at the screen and I'm relying on the spoken instructions which aren't always the best.

The Grande Punto vents don't look very deep for the 'clip on' style holders which form the bulk of what's available on eBay.

So, before I invest in one... what do you use, and is it any good?

My phone is a Nokia 7.1 if that makes any difference.

Cd slot phone holder from yosh on the bay, £6.87, awesome bit of kit got one for all 3 of my cars. One is used 50 odd hours a week in my taxi for my pda, solid well built and good value and its not in the way of you vision.

Personally, & I can hear all not with me on this one, I wouldn't have my phone in view on any contraption, simply because it can be very distracting. There have been accidents just by the driver taking her/his eye off the road when the phone rings/lights up/vibrates what have you (covered all options there )

Just my thoughts.

Thats ok, ive found this really good myself as its not screen mounted it doesnt block your vision and isnt as distracting as its mounted lower. Seems good quality well made bit of kit glad you like it.
