Granprixgranda has mentioned being a cheapskate when coming to mods - I'm sure he's not the only one out there, so tell us what's the best bargain mod(s) you've ever had?

Mine have to be the polys on the Bravo, they weren't exactly cheap but much cheaper than new and the different functionally and aestetically was amazing - combined with HIDs they were the bomb :)

Tinting my back lights/mk2 front badge on the bonnet.

The tints were a disaster first time, we left the lights in front of a fire to heat (to take the paint) and kinda forgot they were there. So by the time I bought another set of lights & tin of spray, I guess they weren't so cheap.

The badge undoubtedly made a difference to the front of the car, a couple of quid from the breakers!

well its not a mod but my best bargin was my car and second best the k and n induciton kit £20.00 brand new

p.s. youl need to guess the price a paid for the car you may be shocked.

I know the answer to this but I'll hold of for those who want to guess ;)

best and cheapest mods was prob for my fiesta

i got mk3 turbo front and back bumpers already sprayed in ford black for 40 quid and that was the fogs and everything and i got a ready made 3 week old badboy bonnet with capri scoop for 15 quid!

Dunno about be mod bargain ever (I've been around for a few years  ) but I think the best I've managed recently is to source an Eibach Pro kit (springs and struts) for my Stilo in europe at somewhere around half the price of a couple of companies are asking in the UK

If this turns out to be as trouble free as I hope will post details of the company I'm dealing with on the forum so other Italian car owners can benefit :smt023

Other than that I once bought a set of Oz 17" alloys from a guy in the pub (family business used to be a pub) for an Integrale I hadn't yet bought (!) for £100...... sold 'em 25 minutes later for £300

I will

I have a pal with a 156 JTD (2.4) which needs some suspension tweaking as well (just doesn't do country roads quickly), if these guys check out OK then he'll be buying a set for the Alfa as well :D

Fiat were wanting something like £420  for them. And i still havent seen a set exact same as them, there are a few similar ones but not the same.

And i would also be very intrested in abachi springs at a bargin price,CASH waiting :)

OK - I'm going for the full Eibach Pro suspension kit (but they sell all stuff) if they guy come good I will post the details here ASAP - I won't do it before just in case I have to go abroad and beat people up to get my money back :smt066 I don't like recommending something/a company etc if I haven't tried it/them yet ;)

I've placed my order for a complete Eibach Pro kit, waiting to see how they get on with delivery etc from Germnay. I can pass the details to you for their site if you want.........
