General Belt replacement times.

What is the recommended replacement times for :- Alternator V Belt & V ribbed drive belt?
I'm aware that the Timing belt is replaced every 5 years, but no mention of the others.
The alternator belt recently shredded on our Ducato in Portugal.

Not too sure but personally I'd say replace with the timing belt
It often has to be removed to do the timing belt on some engine's so seems the perfect time

...I'm assuming x250/x290 given your Avatar.

In the Service Schedule for mine the auxiliary belts are down as every 6 years (4 years for the 115 engine).

Mine will get done at the same time as the cambelt (5 years) having been advised it will only cost for the additional parts (no extra labour) as they're "already in there".
