I don't want to paint a bleak picture of Belfast, for most of the time it's a reasonable and normal place to live. This was the scene not 5 minutes from my house after last nights trouble...
We're all fine thanks. It's not directly near where I live, but very close. The area the photos were taken in isn't the best and leads to Belfast City Centre, it's right beside a flashpoint area with protestants on one side of the road and catholics on the other.
tonights rioting has just started again!! so not be long til there be more burnt out cars and rioting all over the country!!
my friend lives in tennent street steve and there was 6 buildings on fire in his street alone last night, and probably about 5 cars.
I can hear the rioting and see smoke from my house but have as yet to see any trouble in my street in my lifetime!
gota love our country
i got caught up in the wrexham riots, nothing like ni but its just not something i could take in, not what i expect on my streets , was like something in the movies
