When I open the door of my 1995 Panda Selecta a little warning beep beep beep beep beep beep beep (you get the idea) goes off for about 10 seconds. Just 'cos I openned the door? Without the keys in and with everything turned off, getting out or getting in, it's beep beep beep beep beep. Does anyone know why? There are no warning lights and it doesn't seem to make any difference to anything else in the car. Just wondering if it is normal or could there be something wrong? I can ignore it, it doesn't bother me, but is it about to bite me?

Seem to remember something like this on 'Beau', Charlotte's red Selecta last year...

 check that you're actually putting it into park and not leaving it in neutral / any other gear ;)

Yes, its because its not in 'Park'. The same will happen if the car is moved from Park to any other Selection when the ignition isn't on. Had a duff selector switch in one of our and romoved the buzzer as a temp fix (as you do) but never have got around to re installing it and sorting it. Lol.
His right...I had the same sound...however never had problem with it...
...
it's one the modern equipments in Selectas :D
