ok lets paint a picture... im driving home and i hear this rattle really pissing me off... after look around and realising i have no boot trim cos i removed it ages ago for no reason lol it was my parcel shelf rattling with teh heavy speakers in..... so i set work on sorting this out once and for all....
step one strip ur boot
step 2 bring all plastic parts back to new house and lets play.
step 3 go home to mums to get parcel shelf cos i forgot to pick that up
step 4 back home again
ALL WITH ME SO FAR.... good
wanted rid of the shelf and needed to smooth bits off so it looks like it didnt mean to have on instead of missing one..
so this is wat i test for thursday night..
after lookin at it for about 5 mins i relised i had a lot of fwork to do and mdf wasnt the answer. so i went mums on the way home and collected my styro foam i never got round to using (thanks ben)
i made the shape i wans sanded it down roughly and then coverd the thin in tin foil and gaffa tape. and ended up with this
gonna get a few layers of fibreglass tomorrow. then fibreglass some mdf rings in and get it smooth for sprayin..
also got pissed off with my numberplates and the way the law take there anger out on me.... so i bought some CHAVVY carbon plate holder from halfords... thats right... lol... gonna modify these so they actually work and then smooth them do so they sit on the car not 5 miles off and spray it black.
then its off to my mate jason to get my boot build sorted... hopefully i can get my car on road before donny lol still need to sort my rear splitter aswell :s
