Hi,

Thinking bout a bee sting aerial on my Punto, but can't find any pics of one on a Mk2 Punto anywhere! Can anyone help?

Bit worried it'll look naff with the adjustable aerial thing!

TIA!

Yeah that's great thanks. Looks pretty good.

One thing i've noticed with the Richbrook bee stings is that the base looks wider than the bit it threads on to on a Punto. Are there any that would look right?

Presumably the aerials on eBay are going to be cheap and nasty! Which other makes would make a good aerial?

Thanks again!

unless the little flange sits nicely on the mount they look (n)

just got a shorter, thicker, more wippy cinq sporting aerial for mine for free (well I buy so much from said yard I get alsorts:cool: , got some free sporting skirts if they ever get one in!!!), looks loads better than the black wire effort that fiat spec as std, and it doesn't bend permantly like said wire:rolleyes:

my point exactly, it says universal fit so many times I am beginning to get drawn into the trap, if ANYTHING says its universal steer clear, or at least ask some proper questions that your likely to get answers to, usually you ask, will it fit a punto, yes mate its universal, you get it and it screws in, but hangs over the mount and looks naff

i brought a new bee sting arial for my mk1 punto cos the old one was bent, it just screwed in no prob, one prob thou - got up the next day n sum1 had run off with it !!! thats a fiver gone down the pan

ive heard sum mk1s have strange arials installed that are not screwed in and are fixed, not seen one myself...

Yes mine has one of those and it snapped off :bang: Mk6 escort aerials can be made to fit albeit a bit bodged but it works ok and only looks odd if you stare closely at it

not a prob mate, ive seen other ones people have brought and dont fit correctly

like sum hang over the screw fitting and look silly whereas some arent big enuff and dont screw in. you do get diffrent fixtures with the aerial but i didnt need any of them, the standard one went straight in no probs (y)
