General Battrey indicator question

hi,

i'm in love with my Fiat Uno 1995.


i have a question. when i put the gear on free, and i use the brake, the battrey starts flashes. why?

does it turn over easy in mornings and etc. after being parked up for a while..

could be dodgey earth etc.
