Any one still playing this, I know StiloSporting does from time to time.

I asked because I have been getting back into it bigtime, have got bored with R6 Vegas and the like and have found Battlefield to be great again.

If you all still playing maybe we should get together for a match or two.

have to say gears of war is a great mp game, could never get on with the BF demo, plus playing on the 360 it feels "odd", makes it seem like the bastard redhead stepchild of bf2 for the pc (which is awesome)

i still play this religously online :D my housemate does also but under my username. i do see you signed in AK but your generally playing something else. if i see someone playing it i go into their details and select 'join in'. puts me straight into the game.

how often do you use the headset with it?

All the time. I have a wireless jobby, works well until the batteries die and gotta recharge it.

Have had a few killer games of late, tonight I had a few decent games. I tend to play 4 matches a time to try and keep my PPH up.

Fave maps are,

Backstab
Bridge too Far
Deadly Pass

Fave character,

Spec Ops

Fave vehicle,

Jeep loaded with 6 c4 bombs(Beeps like a bastard, took out 2 tanks and a jeep with one loaded c4 mobile:D :D)

I have it but I never play it, it doesn't sit well when you have played the PC version, now that's awesome. The 360 version was a let down to me.

pc version (y)

never tried bf2. but I know that a few other 1st person games don't go too well with consoles.

you REALLY need a mouse
I think that depends entirely if the game has been designed specifically with console controls in mind.
I used to be ranked 2nd in the world on MOHAA on the online ranking system and I hated console FPS games because there was never the accuracy there like the PC versions and I overcame that by playing Halo :worship: and Wolfenstein on the xbox.
Wolfie had an ingenious method of emulating mouse controls on the joypad. You held down one of the buttons (which I mapped to the left trigger) and combined with the control stick you could turn super fast, so after a little practice it was a case of flicking the trigger at the same time as turning and it would point you exactly where you needed to be in a split second. I really don't understand why other companies have not done this, even the one I work for despite constant nagging from myself.

I like console FPS games as much as PC ones now, as long as they are good ones. I find them more relaxing to play.

I hate EA, their servers are ****e. Tried playing tonight but far too laggy, eventually I got dropped.

Nice to speak briefly Sporting, thanks for the lift in the hummer.

Try again tomorrow night.
