Battery light

1.4 bravo!!

Suddenly my battery warning light is coming on when at low revs...or when at trafic lights and so on.... its okay when driving..have checked all connections etc to see if anything was loose.... anyone any thoughts on this..before I visit a garage...any help welcome

Sounds like the battery is fekked. When at high revs the alternator is powering everything but at low revs it is generating less charge.

Have you checked the battery fluid level and charged it? My be worth a go.

If it is the batt get it changed as it will likely as not take the alternator with it.

Most likely the alt is shot, not the battery.
