I went into a local motorist shop today ( Headington Auto Parts - Oxford),

and amid all the blister packed , bolts, fuses, etc were round pole battery terminals ( self-crimp),

may be worth a try.., as probably a LOT cheaper than new built leads..,

I had a further look at both clamps and the plastic parts were restricting clamping. I broke them off and all was good again.
