I currently have a Garden Green Fiat Barchetta that I am thinking of letting go,

It is a 1997 P Reg UK car with around 115k miles on the clock,

Car is in fair condition, there are the odd scratch and marks around the car and the front end is chippy. There is also some slight surface rust in the usual places around the rear wheel arches.

I have 2 sets of wheels (original barchetta steelies) one set almost perfect the other in need of restoration. I have 2 soft top assemblies with 2 soft tops in fair condition.

Interior condition is good for year, has black leather seats, steering wheel and gear knob are worn. Rubber floor is near perfect, no holes.

Car runs and drives well, have recently performed a full service including oil and all filters.

What would you all recommend selling this for? Is anyone interested?

I reckon you might get more if you put a 12-month MOT on it. Did you do the service yourself? And when was the cambelt last done?

I have just got my B back on the road after 18 months SORN. It is a 1995 and needs a bonet respray as well as some other work. I will probably sell at some point but would not let it go too cheaply. A 2 seater, left hand drive, soft-top isn't the easiest car to sell but I disagree with the £800-£1,200 price and would advise you to ask for more. Definately worth getting it an MOT.

£3-4000 seems to be the going price at the mo

Do you want to buy mine for that kind of money? I will happily sell it to you :D
Or just drive to Germany yourself and pick up one for about 1-1.5k euros yourself...
People in UK are a bit delusional about the value of things from my experience...

Whatever you do don't try France if you think Brits are delusional, the cheapest locally to me (about 150kms away) is 2,700€ then up to nearly 8,000€!

The b is quite a rare thing, let's not devalue the brand, in my experience a car is easily devalued
The parkers guide is made up of values of cars,,,, but this is based on what the cars bring at auction so a value is what someone is prepared to pay, let's be true to the Barchetta, it's a good looking car it's not expensive to run or repair. Everywhere I go with mine it turns heads, everyone looks at it if it's parked people go for a look

Thanks All,

I did service it my self using genuine parts, car hasn't travelled much in the last few years.

I am probably going to hang on to it for a little longer. Had an offer on her last week for £2,200.

Going to get it MOT'd and then maybe use it for the summer.
