instead of glue use 3M double tape, guys are using to attach number plate.

The best thing to do with those scripted badges is to - carefully - get some tissue or newspaper, wrap the badge up in it and then spend some time jumping up and down on it until it's properly smashed to bits, then locating the nearest dustbin to throw it in to.

I hate them... as you can tell.

aha... that kind of badge... well, you could cut few pieces and attach on back where badge have largest surface... those 3M double's are really strong.

yes I must admit to be in 2 minds about whether it would look right or not .. I may wait to see another car with one on

having just spent a fortune getting a new bootlid sprayed up to replace the one with that horrid middle brake light, I don't want to ruin the lines now ...

Debadging looks good. My B was going to get new style badges but the bodyshop reckoned she looked far better completely badgeless and I agree with them.

My baby is almost ready to emerge from a complete bare-metal rub down-respray. Just waiting for the wheels to be done. Paintwork looks superb..modern paint, 3 coats, lacquer. Better I think than when new.

All I have to do now is pay (n).

BTW some of those e-bay badges are total crap. They last a few months and then fade or discolour. Big time ebay badge seller 'YourBadges'...avoid, cheap Chinese tat.

or if not badge, then sticker as i have.

Sorry, Mr Twilight... I'm a fan of the metal badges  I figure they are better than the nasty plastic fiat origionals (here the plastic ones just fade and look tacky)!!

Got the front and rear metal logos from www.barchettaparts.com both still look like new :) and are held in place with the double sided tape / foam

I guess it's everyone to their own.... !! johnv Go with what ever combination you like best... After all you bought the car because you liked it!!

I did think about de badging when I got the car resprayed a year or so ago but figured it looked better with something filling the void between the lights...

I'm sure whatever you paid to get rid of that stupid nose on the boot it was mony well spent... :D (y)

Just my opinion... I know some people like it...

I too find the Barchetta logo badge to be the best. I think the front looks okay de-badged or with an original but the back looks best with one of these.

I used ultra strong double sided adhesive tape and cut round with a scalpel before peeling back and pressing on to the boot, making sure to cover the small holes left by removal of the old badge. Good luck on making the right choice. ;)

My B is now booked in for her bodyshop repairs, new radiator and panel. Whilst they do all that, they are going to do a debadge for me...Not replacing it, decided it looks better smooth....£1000 spent...now I just need a cheap roof repair!!!
