Considering the value of cromas I didn't want to spend upwards of £50 a wheel refurbishment, 4 required. I watched a dew videos on YouTube and decided to have a go myself. Couple of sheets of wet and dry, 2 500ml cans of primer, 2 of paint and 1 of laquer and a pretty decent job if I say so myself. All in about £25 depending where you get your paint (halfords are dear). Take your time over the rubbing down and filling and you will be well satisfied.

No, but I let them down to get masking tape behind rim. If I was going to do the perfect job I would get tyres removed and fill edges properly. It's all about the filling and sanding. If you can spray paint a radiator you can do the wheels, very easy.

(y) Like that Duncan! Mine could do with the same.

What filler did you use? Any special paint/primer?

I think the rest of my car would let the wheels down if I refurbed them. At the moment everything matches - rough and ready.
