My Punto was debadged when I bought it. I was interested to see the difference with the badges on, so I went down the scrappies and got some. I think it looks MUCH better. The blue F/I/A/T badge onto the black tailgate looks just that lil bit more cooler than without methinks.

So the question is, are you for or against debadging?

Enough said to be honest.

After a period of time, the badges show the signs of the british climate, as shown above so best to get rid

I'd say if the badges are crapy and not looking their bes just buy some brand new shiny ones. I'm not a big fad of the debaged look to be honest think it looks tacky, only think its a good idea on those high performance cars when you wanna get rid of your model number but not the actual badge. :yum:

Debadged both my Stilos but am contemplating spacing the S t i l o out across the panel above the number plate as its shiney and think it would look good against the black of the car.

Think it totaly depends on the car tbh, and i mean the car not the model. Some puntos look wrong with them some don't, i think Sei's generally look better de-badged. On the whole though, i'm down with removing badges or replacing them for apt ones, like the gt next to the cinquecento on back of alex's tub 'Enzo' and the bit on imola from an uno turbo

can sometimes look as if you're trying to cover up how little your engine is..

Or surprise people with how big it is

If you want to let people know its deffinetly a fiat.... then

Can vouch for the fact that the silver ones look perfect just below the 3rd brake light on the Bravo :D

As for debadging, Im all for it most of the time in order to keep the smooth and uncluttered lines of the car

However I will agree that sometimes debadging just looks wrong and it looks as if the car is missing something (this can be especially true with some of the badgeless bonnet grilles) You need to get it right otherwise dont bother in my opinion ;)

I've removed all of the badges from the Bravo except for the bonnet grille one which Im thinking I might keep.

I prefer mine without the badges but I know some people on here prefer it with the badges which is why my old badges found good homes to a few people on here (y)

Talking of badges dont you just hate it when car dealers stick their awful badges on your rear window and on the number plates, that you have had to pay for, no badges are not for me, all advertising comes at a cost
rgds.

definately for debaged all the way or keeping the baging stylish i think the fiat and cinquecento badges on the cinq are too 90's:yuck: so they went now all i got is the sporting and the front grill 4 line emblem just to give a hint of what it is... i like to think people sit behind me at lights and think what is it altho theyre probably thinkin T**T he debaged a cinq but its funny when kev in his 1.2 nova wants a race and i whoop his ass cos hes on mummies insurance and the cinqs handle WAY BETTER.... but i only do it on private roads... HONEST;)
