Anyone know of a better/longer lasting fix for this problem. Its just i`d like to do it properely.

Measure the seats brackets, I mean their Ø and lenght. Buy a rubber hose whit the inner diameter like the bracket. Slice the hose and putt it on the bracket, then putt some duck tape over it and slam the seats in. The rubber cant get used, and it doesent react on temp. changes.
I can do a manual whit pictures if U want.

Good idea man, i might try that, my other thought was to laminate some carbon round the post to increase it dia. but i think thats overkill!

Will make a small manual whit pics. So everyone can see how, cos. the tape thing doesent work too long.
