It would surprise me if it was the induction kit as i had the standard air filter fitted untill about 2 weeks ago and still had the 'pop' sound

dont worry too much about it, mine does it too, full catback system, just makes me giggle really everyone else whose seen my car will vouch for how deafening it is sometimes but ye pays ye money....
