Back in a fiat

Good afternoon all,

After a few years without one I have just purchased a Punto van 1.9D 66k miles in 20 years so low and looks in good condition, haven’t seen it yet!!!!

Previously I had every colour of Punto cabriolet, Tipo MK1, Bravo MK1, Strada, Coupe, Panda (most ages). Really sad to have sold them but there is time to buy more!!!

I will need some advice and help.

I will put some posts up as I go along.

Hi Mat and welcome to the site! Hopefully it's in great shape.

But won't a 20 years old vehicle have issues with the low emissions zone?

Hi Ben,

It is in good shape really, interior is very clean. It’s red so needs a mop. I’ll get it 100% and then do a couple of thousand miles a year in it.

It does comply with the low emission zone but doesn’t comply with the ultra low emission zone but I will be keeping it as a run around outside of the ulez zone, the zone is only inside the north and south circular so miles rom me.

When I go in I use a Zipcar, tube etc. At worst it will cost me £12.50 a day.
