There'll be A LOT of fabricating, welding and wiring to be done,
But you never know, I know of a young guy that put a corvette V8 in a CRX, it was a master piece and he was young, serious fabricating

I'm not saying its not possible or anything - but i bet said youngster wasn't asking about whether he needed 2 ecu's to make it work. I must stress i was in no way having a go at the OP or young car enthusiasts in general - there is many people on this forum younger than me that know more about tuning and stuff.

Agree with blu, I wasn't saying it cannot be done, I was saying that there are many half finished, half arsed projects out there because people bite off more they can chew due to not realising how much time, effort, money and modification is involved in a project such as that. it's not like your just dropping in a slightly bigger fiat engine, your talking different company altogether so driveshafts need custom, engine mounts, throttle, brakes, ecus, hubs, possibly strengthening chassis etc . . . If I remember rightly I read about someone on here wanting to dump a Alfa 20v engine in a cinq which never happened etc . . .

There is no Alfa 20v engine -- that's probably why!

Still, the old Vauxhall engined Sei was finished and in record time, so amazing stuff can be done.

are you wanting to put this honda engine in to be "faster" than your friends ? get a 16v droped in there , get some well sorted suspention and your on to a winner ..

ive got a 1.2 8 v in mine and when i done a trackday it was sooo much fun , keeping up with bigger cars in the corners supprised a few folk

If you are 18 check how much it is to insure an engine swapped Cinq. You'll also have to spend £££ on the rest of the car to keep up with all the extra horsepower which will also bump your insurance up.

Still around folks h22 cento is still on the do just spent all of my time with developing 3d printer and my VW UP. glad to assist with questions on the conversion after my intensive research . Glad to hear another honda powerd fiat is on the do

If you want to know more about the B16A1 conversion,i think you have to contact trs-racing.pl.They have done the conversion you want to do and i believe they could save you time and money

i know several people that have tried contacting trs and they never get back.. shame really
