Technical B1009 error /fault code ?

does anybody know what this code is ?
the lightbulb (lighting error) comes on every now & again but cannot find any bulbs that need replacing.
a freind has used a computer & the B1009 code comes up
my car is a 03 1.2 punto 8v

Canbus car, so can be tricky, but take a long, hard look at the connectors (especially the headlamp ones, which tend to turn to coal when they overheat) and earths.

Try replacing both front sidelight bulbs, I think they are a W5W and cost pence at most motor factors (not halfords)
