I was contemplating whether to take this off. I searched around and couldn't find an answer to my paranoid little buggy question.

What happens to the window rubber on the front window when you take the vinyl off? On my Punto MK2 the window rubber sits over the vinyl.. does the rubber come off too? Surely not. Does it just stay there? Thanks :D

Nothing happens when you take it off, window seals arent affected.

What colour is you car? Generally people with light coloured cars leave it on, while dark coloured cars take it off.

If the vinyl is faded or damaged, you can easily replace it with any outdoor grade vinyl.

He's the bright blue :D

Is it still worth taking off the lower bump strips if I was to leave this on?

That looks great mate!!! Contemplating on removing mine too....The Vinyl is tearing up from the side....is it a difficult job to do as it seems to be a bit difficult to remove due to it's glue or whatever....?

It's so easy to do! Got mine done but phwoar she needs some elbow grease & take your time peeling to ensure you take up as much adhesive as you can.. it's a pain to get up.

After I took all mine off, mind, I noticed that that tiny back section had been sprayed around.. and lacquered.. consequently, it's a mess. Boo! Any ideas on solving my now peeling bump stripless wing issue? Ideas include putting a fat abarth vinyl over it or having it buffed and redone *sigh*

Sorry, I was on my phone so I wasn't very clear.

I used the hairdryer to peel back the bump strips and B pillar vinyl. Vinyl was fine but, because my rear arches/wings had been resprayed recently the back bit of the bump strip had been painted and laquered around.. taking off the bump strip revealed the big gap which hadn't been resprayed nor laquered :bang:

..gonna either get a big Abarth sticker to cover or have it resprayed and blended (shouldn't be much blending needed, having been sprayed ~6 months ago)

I have a yellow one, and I decided to take off the b pillar strip (because it had gone funny and split) with the intention of replacing it.

Got some vinyl, but could not get a decent finish on it at all. So 4 months later and I've still got a yellow b pillar... But I can safely say it looks a lot better if you have a black pillar.... Especially if you have tinted windows.

It ALWAYS looks better with the bump strips removed :p
