Styling B-Pillar vinyl Adhesive remover help?

Hi, I recently decided to remove the b-pillar vinyl from my fiat punto mk2. The vinyl was easy enough to remove however I have been left with a large amount of adhesive. I have tried to use WD40 and vinegar as someone recommended that that should easily remove the adhesive. The adhesive has barely budged and any help would be great on removing this.

lighter fluid, petrol, acetone (nail varnish remover), any organic solvent will do. As @s and b says, no smoking, clean residue with soapy water.

Hi, I just tried using petrol on a rag and all it seemed to do was weaken the adhesive. The rag wouldn't remove it but using my thumb I was able to roll up bits of it and pull some off. Will do it tomorrow as my thumb is aching haha.

Another option is heat, and see if you can roll the chunks off

I'd try panel wipe. It'll get rid of most stuff (after all, that's why it's made).

Thanks for all the comments! I managed to get one side off but will do the other tomorrow. In the end I used a rag with lighter fluid which weakened the adhesive. I then used a rubber eraser to push the adhesive into a clump and pulled away. I will be trying anpther method tomorrow as the eraser caused more mess haha.

Give it a soak with alcohol, then use an old credit card/oyster card whatever to scrape the residue away.
