Filled up at asda. Full tank. Reset all trip meters and got this on the drive home. Super happy at my car with the range and mpg.

I always think the range seems high. I have a tjet 150 and even on less than a qtr tank it tells me I have 150+ left which clearly isn't right. I've got the average mpg up to 55 before though, but that was jumping straight on the motoway after putting half a tank in and doing a 2.5 hour traffic free stretch down the motorway on cruise at 60mph. I know you usually knock off about 5 miles (I think) from whatever the readout says.

Yeh me too. As I tend to get more miles out of the tank than the trip computer tells me.

For your car is this range good, but it depends on your previous driving and in reality u will do maybe 500miles. Fuel indicator will go slowly to the half and then it will go faster.

Well that's my average according to the trip computer. 20 miles of a/B roads and 10 miles of motorway to work. I wish it was doing that! Low 60s at best I think.

I read it on this forum! I'll try and find the thread. Off a full tank, 500 is probably what I'd expect it to top out at.

As Rigby has shown, his diesel claims 81mpg but in reality it's different. Do the actual calculation once you've used the full tank and see what it comes out as
