Back home, fighting the jetlag....!!
The Palio started on three cylinders first time, I suspect a sticking injector.
After a restart it ran fine, no service lights, so everything is fine for now.
I have to get used to the high up seating in the Palio, compared to our rental car in the US, a 2010 Ford Focus SES, fully loaded.
Anyway, don't hesitate to post everything Palio here.

How did you know that it started on 3 cylinders? Injector light came up?

Trip was perfect, although the weather was a bit....hot and humid....!!
No lights came on, but the sound and feel of an engine running on 3 cylinders, is so obvious, you can't be wrong...!!
