Howye all,
yesterday i found an original AD182H2 grundig head unit for my bravo, and today i installed it (bit retro eh !), and got an auxilliary input for my mp3 player working on the CD changer interface, without any CD changer adapter !!!. basically, the MCD36 etc. grundig changers only have one bus (control line), and holding this low at the radio fools it into thinking there is a changer on the bus, but it lets the audio through anyway !!, and changes the display to AUX. maybe this was intentional by grundig ??.
If anyone wants to know how its done, and also how to put your nokia hands free through the radio as well, i can do a tutorial if anyone's interested, and post it in the ICE section.
Its well worth keeping the higher spec grundig head units, as they are well built, and will do the mp3 player and phone kit. they sound decent too.
