Hi,
So I've been trying to attach an AUX input to the factory Blaupunkt radio
in my Punto (52 Plate, just in case that's relevant) for weeks now and I finally caved and bought one of those aux adaptors with the blue sockets.
I managed to remove the HU just fine and attached the blue part to the back of the stereo, above the other cables and next to the yellow and green ones.
However; when I tried to change the source on the radio it just kept saying 'NO CD' and nothing else. I've looked everywhere for a solution and some people said to turn the power on while holding the source button, and let go as soon as the word 'changer' appears, but for me, no matter how fast I do it, changer appears for about half a second and I hear my music for that half second, but then it goes straight back to radio.
Anybody got any ideas as to why this is happening? Also I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to this kind of thing so layman's terms would be appreciated.
Also, worst case scenario, does anybody know where I can get a panel which will at least cover the outside if I fit a completely different radio?
Cheers
