Well, we won't be taken by surprise to hear the dealership didn't know. My dealer told me that he and his colleagues had never been able to make the auto tailgate thing with a kick work - it's worked every time for me in the ten days we've had the car! BUT... I digress! This point about autonomous parking + missing cabin lights in the rear + lack of ambient lighting sent me into a frenzy of worry that, despite only buying a brand new vehicle this month and being told by the dealer that it was in various stages of its delivery process from factory, via the high seas etc etc to the dealership, I had somehow been given old stock. This led me to investigating all the codes involved in the vehicle's VIN - quite a saga! It turns out that if the tenth digit is an 'S' it was built in 2025 or 1995!!! So, I think I'm happy that it is a 2025 vehicle, but, long story short, it seems that the UK models do not have these nice extra touches, unfortunately, despite mentions of them in UK marketing and in UK reviews.
