transmission warning light came on for my Fiat 500X automatic, as I was about to start driving after stopping at red light and then instructions showed: Switch to neutral and then forward and reverse.
Switched engine off and did that, light was still on but at least car was moving in first gear. Stopped again, tried in 30 min, light was off and car was driving as normal.
Saw a comment about break light being important for transmission robot in another thread, I had a bulb gone couple weeks ago in my rear break lights, melted in a socket. I wonder whether they might have done some rework b there due to melted socket.
Also my outdoor temperature sensor has been showing higher temperature than it actually is in the past three weeks. Haven’t had a chance to fix it yet, maybe that is affecting something?
Bringing to the mechanic next week, hopefully he can figure it out. Any advice or insight is welcome. Thanks.
