Technical Audible headlight warning not working

Hi all,

I noticed today that my audible headlight warning has stopped working. Anyone else had this issue or is there a setting i could have changed by accident?

Audible headlight warning? If you mean as you leave the headlights on and step out with the car off, then the Bravo doesn't have one. The lights go off as you kill the engine.

Hi Ascott92, i could've sworn i heard a noise before, I must've been wrong! Thats good to know though, thanks for your reply.

Mine makes a clicking sound.


When I turn the key there's this click and the lights go out.

theres a relay click, thats it, no warnings as the car i clever enough to turn the lights off when you turn the car off

just out of interest, is there any way of leaving sidelights on with engine off?

Turn the car off with the headlights on
Turn headlights off then on again
Job done

Not sure if you need the key in or not, but you I believe they are called "follow me home" lights, and you can adjust how long they stay on for.

Activation
With the ignition key at STOP or re-
moved, pull the stalk towards the steering
wheel and operate it within 2 minutes
from when the engine is turned off.
At each single movement of the stalk, the
staying on of the lights is extended by 30
seconds up to a maximum of 210 seconds;
then the lights are switched off automati-
cally.
Each time the lever is operated, the in-
strument panel warning light 3turns
on (together with the message on the dis-
play) (see section “Warning lights and
messages”).
Deactivation
Keep the stalk pulled towards the steer-
ing wheel for more than 2 seconds.

i dont think rears will be on.. was only wondering 'cos its sometimes usefull to leave lights on whilst nipping into shops etc...not many street lights "out in the sticks"

From Page 55 of the manual:

PARKING LIGHTS
These lights can only be turned on with ignition
key at STOP or removed, by moving
the left stalk knurled ring first to O and
then to 6 ( sidelights) or 2 ( headlights ).
Warning light 3on the instrument panel
will turn on. To select the right or left
lights use the direction indicator stalk.
