! ! ATTN ! ! SERIOUS TUNING ADVICE NEEDED

iv just bought a 1.6 sx bravo and want to make it quicker. i know about induction kits and exhausts but they dont do **** all for the amount of cash you spend on em. i am interested in fitting a turbo- if possible and was wondering if any1 knew of a way to JANK my engine??

im 18 so i cant get a faster car coz of the insurance..

any advice would be soo greatly appreciated,

Doing those mods will make your insurance worse than if you owned a proper quick car.

Wait until you are older. Everyone else has to.

get a k&n exhaust etc then do some head work and cams if you can head work is arond 600 ish i think. u can also get an nasp conversion from superchips which gives 6-7bhp extra, a turbo gives about 40-50 bhp and head and cams would give roughly the same and aren't as blatant under the bonnet to mr insurance man as a turbo! try and keep the engine naturally aspirated its usually better. could also get throttle body conversion but costs alot and dont know if you can do it to bravos?!

Get hold of a Fiat Coupe 16v Turbo engine and that will go straight in.
You'll also need the gearbox, ecu, keys ect but will give 195bhp.
Conversion will cost you about £2-2500., but insurance hikes will be massive, your looking at least an increase of £600.
