my boss has just invested in an asnu injector cleaner, pretty good bit of kit, i cleaned my injectors which i thought was ok and it upped the flow rate by about 30cc which over 5 injectors is quite alot

Wow. That does make a difference. I know you can buy injector cleaning chemicals to put in your petrol, but I always worry about them.

No I understand that, and I can imagine it is very good.
My question was, are the fuel additives any good at all?

The consensus on the coupé forum is no. Best practice is to fill up with optimax at least once every four fills, this has added detergents to clean and maintain everywhere that the fuel reaches.

ahhhh...I generally fill with Super unleaded with shell being poison of choice, but tesco super unleaded is pretty decent too.

I think Shell and Texaco offer best super unleaded in terms of detergents added. I just stick to optimax now mainly since the remap.
