Arrrrgh Water!

I know the feeling m8, around our's last night it flooded everywhere!!! Just had the mini beasts interior cleaned and I spent over 4 hours polishing her on sat. And now there is crap all over the paint work from driving through it all. Have to admit tho she did really well to get through all of it, coz it was bloody deep in places. People who live by the road side were having to use sand bags to keep there houses safe.

Re: Arrrrgh Water!

I'm thinking I'll just do the outside quickly and concentrate on inside today. I'm gonna take cleaning/waxing stuff and think about doing it when we're up there, maybe Sunday Morning!

Re: Arrrrgh Water!

Who am I kiding! I just gave in and gave her the waxing of her life! I'm so going to regret that when it's pissing down toentially tomorrow and I'm driving 5mph trying to avoid going through any puddles!

Man, the forum's gone quiet this afternoon, is everyone off cleaning their cars in preparation!?

just did a big wash (2 hours), started to dry it and torrential downpour started. Got some funny looks as I looked up to the sky and shouted "BASTARD!!!" :(

Job for the morning then, no lay in for me.

Re: Arrrrgh Water!

Well I managed to get the outside done (bar the wheels - they'll need a good hour each in the morning) before the heavens opened. Thank the Lord for the garage. :)

Early to wake on the morn methinks as that interior and those wheels aint gonna clean themselves. :(

BTW, if anyone wants to stop at Halfords on the way and get themselves a polishing bonnet or two I am bringing my power polisher should you want to use it. Will need your own polishing bonnets though. Coupla quid each.

Re: Arrrrgh Water!

Well, I gave my plan a lot of thought.

Beautiful sunshine this morning in Kent but figured the rain would come sometime today. So.. I hoovered and cleaned inside. Car was given a good clean (outside) on Thursday night anyhow just as a precaution if things went tits up and yup, they did... the heavens opened. Joy.

As long as it isn't raining tomorrow morning when I turn up at DS, I'll get it washed and waxed there. Have got my cleaning kit sorted even with my own supply of water :)

Lets hope the rain goes away!
