Pipexsupport.com has shut down - due to the poor service the company offers. I've been in touch numerous times about billing etc and am getting nowhere. I've just send a couple of emails today (phone support is non existant) and have now contacted watchdog...you never know, I could end up on the telly!

Nothing but problem after problem since migrating to Pipex for my Broadband in June/July this year. The modem was sent to the wrong address initially (they still billed me for the service for the week that I was waiting for their equipment) they took over the line early without any notification as well. Then, when the service was up and running, the direct debits are speradic leaving me with bank charges left right and centre - there has been an ongoing 'debate' over the date of my direct debits, I have asked them numerous times under the direct debit guarantee to stop them but they refuse to (next step I guess is speaking to my bank about it?!) I cannot contact them by phone and emails generate the odd 'automated' response or, like the last one dated 10th November, promise a call back within x amount of days (last one was 8 working days)

Here we are on 1st December and Im still waiting. I would migrate elsewhere but they claim if I do they will charge me 60 pounds release fee (even though I am not getting the service I should be getting in terms of customer service!)

Please help! I know many other Pipex customers are on the same boat and are very unhappy but they basically have us over a barrel. I cannot wait until June/July next year when I can migrate away again!

Sincerely,
Martyn Smith (fed up)
