Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of fitting a Bobtec BER system to my Croma, not heard about it before but a friend of mine works for a specialist eco-friendly technology firm and these are supposed to be the next big thing. Apparently it involves fitting two thermobaric solenoids to my front brakes, these charge up a central capacitor which is stored in the manifold, then when I press a button on the steering wheel the charge in the capacitors is run through a small water chamber, splitting it into hydrogen. This Hydrogen is injected into the burn cycle at the optimum flame front giving me a power boost, apparently it will give me a 15% BHP boost for around 30 seconds at a time! Sounds great but not had much experience of this, anyone know more?
Would I have trouble with my warranty or insurance if I fitted this?
