Hi folks,
The time has come for my multi to go to pastures new .
The cost of work needed for the next MOT (even though I do my own mechanics) and the fact that I've been given another car by family means I can't keep the old girl running any more.
The bodywork is pretty bad, brakes are on their way out and there's a list of advisories from last year as long as my arm BUT it's only got just over 74k miles on the clock.
So, I thought I would see if there's anyone here who might be interested in it for the engine/gearbox (and anything else you can use!).
I've just put a proper ad in the classified section with full details, so please have a look there if you're interested.
The car is in Devon and the MOT is good until the end of October. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country (although with a baby expected any day now I'm not offering to drive it anywhere ).
If I don't get any interest I'll try good old fleabay. Failing that it's the scrappers but it seems a shame when I know the motor's got a lot of life left in it.
Cheers,
Ben.
