Anyone live in Telford?

more to the point does any one have any information on the Hadley area? good or bad, I'm looking at up rooting the wife and kids and moving 25 miles away to an area I dont know...

I'm a bit of a snob (no reason to be I was raised on a council estate) and i now live on a nice estate and dont want to 'downgrade' so to speak,

so any views on the area?

I don't live in telford, but live not to far away and have been to the college there a few times before, telford and Shropshire has a good reputation and the area is nice,its a relatively new town and it sparsely populated and has low crime rates but I'm not too familiar with specific areas, bare it mind this is all relative though compared to a lot of places in the west midlands

I wouldnt say 25 miles is an uproot if you meant 250 miles yeah maybe. Having said that, I live in Perton Wolves and have friends that way and its not to bad an area again same as prevoius post depends on what part.

Move across to Lincolnshire, you can prob buy 1/2 the county for the price as your house


Plus you'd be treated like gods as people will have never heard ur accent!!!

I know 25 miles is not far but to my wife it may as well be 250 miles!

been to have a good look at the house today and it needs a fair bit of money spending on it, nothing that scares me though

couple of members on here and myself used to live in Telford..i would not move to Hadley if you paid me.

Very rough area- next to leegomery which is no better. pubs are notorious for trouble round there too

lived on Homerlake and hollinswood and Brookside within Telford and Brookside is not much better.

take my advice and dont bother
