500 Anyone know how to get seatbelt out of rear trim

Hello , anyone know how I get the seatbelt out of the rear side trim. I am reupholstering . Thanx

You "can" remove the lower mounting bolt, however the other end of it is exposed to the outside so can become seized and is easy to shear off?

I believe love500 has a video on YouTube showing this...I think it’s the first stolen/recovered arbarth video.

If you look at Love 500 on YouTube, a video will be uploaded at 9am today (Wed 28th April 2021) which shows how to remove the rear side panel. In that video I show how to get that bolt out on the bottom of the seatbelt. Be careful, watch the video and you'll see why. It has a habit of snapping.

You must take that bolt out to release that bottom bolt to get the seatbelt out.

However, if you are reupholstering the seats you don't need to take it out. There is also a video on there of how to remove the rear seats.

I may have some in some spare rear panels I have in my loft. The ones that go into the plastic rather than the ones that go into the metal on the car. Someone like Club500Italia might be your best bet if you need both.

Hi thanks for help. I managed to get some of the Green lugs for fitting side panels off eBay . Just in case anyone was after some too.
They do fit fiat 500.
