as title says, have any of you had an ecotek valve fitted to a 1.8 bravo?

i'm thinking about getting one, i was wondering whether or not they give much gain? like in fuel consumption/power/torque on the engine. I know its not by much if it would be.

I was also thinking of putting a K&N on it too.

Will i get any noticeable gain? i've never used any aftermarket products

Cheers,
Rhys

Can't comment on Ecotek but with a K&N, you'll notice no difference to performance. Consider the induction kit as a sound kit :)

i have an ecotek on my 1.8 an i did find it made a difference espcially if you have a performance air filter on your car.

when i put the air filter on my fuel consumtion went right up, put the ecotek on and its brought the fuel consumtion back down to nearly normal

is that dont bother with either Tom?

theres nothing else other than a dastek or exhaust that costs little money that i can think of getting...

Ecotech don't do **** waste of money save the money and add it to ur pertol bill.

the bigest saving you can make on fuel with the eco tech is dont buy one and spend the money on fuel to go in the tank

trading standards gave them a bashing last year for false advertising
