I've got them on my Mk1 gt,but i paid £80 for mine 2 wks ago!!!:bang:

Yeah i think they're pretty good value for money :)

Yeah that is true as the standerd ones will end up nackerd you could maybe get away with it for a couple a months or more untill you have the money for new shocks 35mm all around with 15s look smart i must say though and im sure you can get away with it by useing the standerd shocks...

I have ran 50mm drop on my mk2 for 3 years on the original shocks with no hitches at all.

Have recently changed to coilovers but shocks are still fine.

I mean FFS, what extra damage are you gonna get from an extra 10-15mm?

What you think then mate its just your luck if they go or not i thought your shocks went im sure i seen a post in here saying that and you were going to replace them with gas ones as the standerd ones were feeling a little ruff..

Turned out to be rollbar bushes, shocks are fine.

I know a few people who have 50mm springs on standard shocks and their arent any problems.

Lowering any amount will cause shocks to wear quicker so by getting 35mm springs wont stop this.

If i got 35mm springs i would have been disappointed.

Ah right ok fair enough mate i think my mk2 looks pretty good with 35mm not to low as brittish roads aint top notch but its upto the people what they want.. :p
