Like the title says, has anyone got a Parrot CK3100 hands free kit in their Bravo. If so, where have you got your display mounted?

And I dont mean some flash bird saying "Who's a pretty boy then":D

Cheers,
Neil

Thanks for your reply Barry. Its good to know the Parrot kit works. I've decided to go with an "invisible" solution, the CK3000evo with the Multican box so it just uses the steering wheel comtrols. Its being fitted on Tuesday.

Excellent.

Who's fitting it for you? What company did you get it from?

Safeguard Motors in Peterborough. They are sourcing the kit, and doing the same install on my brothers Beemer 325i coupe he got yesterday. They do all our company vehicles as required.

My brother and I both came to the same decision independently - neither of us wanted to spoil the look of the dash!

We did use AVR mobiles once. That says it all:mad:

Sammiboo had a parrot in her Bravo many times. He quite liked it! :p

And I dont mean some flash bird saying "Who's a pretty boy then"
Oh. :(

weve got one on the laguna at work... it blocks us from using the little dash cubby though...

it always amazes me when you see these people in there 60k range rovers etc on there phone holding it in there hand... and they dont have bluetooth as standard or enough money to buy a cheap kit

:p

What was the problem with them, I thought they gave a superb service with mine!?

(y)

They posted the Parrot kit to us. The subcontract mobile fitter turned up. No adaptor cables sent, took seveal days to sort before the fitter turned up again to sort it. It wasted a day of the MD's time when he could have been doing something useful!

Fair enough, I guess mistakes happen every now and again, at least they sorted it out. I've had a few things from them now and they have been excellent each time.

I'm sure if you know exactly what you want and say "I want this kit and that harness and the other adaptor" then they will supply exactly what you want. It just went wrong when we said "Fit a Parrot to a '53 Seat Toledo"

I have the 'basic' parrot in my Bravo. I insisted they gave me and fitted this free together with reverse warning beeper :D

The blue tooth display is just to the upper right of the radio console (just below the air vent.

The mic is just to the right hand side of the cabin light panel on the roof.

The parrot represents excelent value for money (I think you can get them for £70).

Speech recognition from my Blackberry is ported through the Parrot (but I think you can program parrot to recognise speach too).

Fitted a parrot ck3000 evo last weekend , took a while to get behind the dash to hide the unit etc , I only have the ignition wire to trace before getting the system to work . ( I hope it does ) Looks a great peace of kit , mic is positioned between the courtesy light and rear view mirror , the unit itself it centred just below the radio with the wire disapearing under the curve of the dashboard , that way you dont have to bore any holes ! . Looks good , just hope it works properly when I find the ignition wire , anyone know what colour the ignition wire is ?

i thought most bravo's had the blue and me bluetooth hands fee system?
