anyone else had this problem

driving back from bighton, the car decides it doesnt want to pull over 3000rpm in 5th gear and struggles to pull in 4th.

the car is fine in 1st and 2nd, no problems. but when i hit 3rd it takes a little longer than usual to get up to 5500rpm. 4th doesnt want to go up to 5500rpm. and 5th only reaches 3000rpm.

a little rattle can be heard from somewhere but i dnt know what, when its in idle.

the car is a 100sx v-reg bravo.

replace the fuel filter

check the fuel pump(2.8-3.3bars),and also check lambda!!!

My money would be on the Lambda probe.

I've got lots of money, so I'm not bothered if I'm wrong.

I had a very similiar prob with mine, cryton tune plugged it in and identified the lambda sensor was bust, this can also cause intermittent errors with the fuel injectors and and will also cause it to mis-fire (dunno how) and have erratic idle, sometimes cutting out. i thought it was because i washed it. get sorted asap cos you can melt the cat if you havent taken it off yet
