any suggestions?.... indicators

i'm having some problems with my 97 brava s. the hazards and the indicators aren't working, i've checked the fuses for both, and both are in intact. i bought a haynes manual hoping that would give some insight to the problem but i'm still uncertain. my first thoughts after reading the haynes is that it could be the indicators/hazards switch relay loacated in the steering column, could anyone else please advise before i continue with this assumption?

My indicators / hazards were very intermittent,about £11 purchased a new sender relay, fitted under steering column and no longer a problem. Go for it !

yeah, neither of them were working, in haynes manual the only common ground i can see between them was this relay switch under the steering column. i thought they weren't working full stop, but it turns out they are intermittent, so i'll get a new switch. seems the easiest solution so far. cheers for the advice
