my blaupunkt stereo keeps the radio settings but not the clock setting and cant work with the ignition off either. Iwould think that the clock should read the correct time if the presets stay. iv read that if u swap the yellow/red wires it may help but this wont work with mine because there is no additional connector, the existing wires just plug straight into the back of the new stereo. Ques:

1) does anyone know which wires to swap???
2) i guess ill have to cut them because i cant seem to get any out of the connector without cutting, is this right???
3) will the stereo then stay on permanently until manually switched off???

cheers tom, im on my way to the car now with some tape and wire cutters. think ill check the manual for some auto cut off then.
