General Any Fiat breakers/scrapyards in London?

Hiya. My boyfriend is getting agitated because he reckons "no scrapyards in London sell Fiat Pandas". Can anyone help? (We are in West London but can travel if needs be)

We are looking for a few bits and pieces to finish off what is a very tidy little car (a tidy little pink/purple 1995 Fiat Panda Fire with 38,000 on the clock!).

In particular we are after:

1) the cover for the internal light (hopefully pennies to buy once we track one down!)

2) the internal inside door panel that pops on with what look like press studs to hide the wiring for the back windscreen.

3) the plastic 'door pocket' for the passenger side

Oh and lastly:

4) A 13" wheel and rim - did I mention I am still on my L plates? I went round a roundabout in the wrong gear (my instructor's Corsa with power steering is more forgiving!) and got a little too close to the kerb - could have been worse, just missed the lamppost! Consequently we are driving on the spare.

Otherwise the car is great and very tidy so if you know any good breakers and/or contact for cheap tyres and rims please let me know!

i think maybe the plastic trim in the boot and the missing passenger door pocket are quirks of "our" BR colour pandas as mine doesn't have them either !
i can send you a pair of door pockets that will match in black as i'm guessing at the moment your drivers one is grey.pm an address to me or sprox (graham-my lovely boyfriend )
sorry we havent got any of the other spares you need at the moment - well we've got the wheel/tyre but wont be anywhere near london for the rest of the year if we can help it lol !

We also have the same colour 'Colour' Panda as you, and can confirm that those trims and the passenger door pockets were luxuries that were not fitted by Fiat to these cars. nothing to stop you getting hold of them and fitting them though. Panda steel wheels come up fairly regularly on ebay as well so keep an eye out there. Pandas are becoming rare these days. They do appear in scrapyards, but not very often any more. Keep looking and you'll find the interior light cover though. Someone on here may have one.

I presume you got that electrical/fuel problem sorted out in the end?

also a member called panda-sport visits scrap yardss a lot and goes with us all to Italian night at ace cafe 2nd thursday night every month so he may be able to get some bits an meet you there if you come

Hi hannahkrystyna,

1) the cover for the internal light was fitted to a fair few different Fiats, so check all the Fiats in the yard

2) the internal inside door panel for the back windscreen, not many Uk pandas are fitted with these and in many that are its just a bit of hardboard. You can get a packet of the clips in halfords for about a quid and some board from B&Q

3) the plastic 'door pocket' for the passenger side, I havn't seen one in a yard yet

4) A 13" wheel and rim, I've got a spare but would need a new tyre (it got a nail in it ) which I could bring up to the Ace with me in May if its any use.

If you can get to wickford near basildon (A12/A13 or A127) theres a smart fiat breaker on the right going up towards Runwell, with 2 pandas in various states of dismantlement.
1 of them a limited edition looking green interior one(??)
I got a door window, boot lock, pneumatic boot lift and a few nuts and bolts for about 35 quid.
cheap compared to london prices,

Thanks for the offer. Trying to persuade my other half that we should put in an appearance at the Ace. Not sure my car is flash enough to be seen there LOL. If we are going will let you know. Cheers!
