Any advice re: Active Stripes

Hi All

Got a 57 Plate 1.2 Punto Active Stripes. Pulled up on my drive yesterday and took out the ignition key and the engine kept running with the key in my hand. Had to stall the car to get it to stop, phoned the Fiat Dealer today and they said it will just be a glitch and if it happens again bring it straight in, has this happened to anyone else??? Now yellow engine management sign on dash but they cant get me in garage until next Tuesday.

Hey welcome to the forum.........engine running prob sounds an interesting one, not come across that, although may be worth you searching on the Grande Punto section to see if it has cropped up before

The car went in today, apparently it needs a complete new fuse box as the top had not been correctly fitted and damp has damaged all my connectors. So that woud probably do it.

Thanks for the advice, couldn't find anything on the GP section about this though.

Hi thanks for the advice, the problem was relating to damp getting into the fuse box, a new one has been ordered and to be fitted next week.

Didi look on the GP section, but could't find anything about my problem.
