General Any 127 owners out there?

Sorry i'm 5 years late for the party, I have a 127, series 1 1975, had for over 25 years, she's perfect! anyone still got theirs?

Sadly not many at all........The nearest I came to owning a 127 was in the early 80's when I bought a used Forino Van. 1050 cc....for my work...
Be good to see your version.Thanks.

I know a 1976 903cc Special bought new in Germany, still near perfect as it it has lived in South Africa from an early age, there is also a Ochre Yellow one from Zambia that now in SA is in daily use.

seriously rare then.. I'll put some pics up of mine, 1975 giallo tufo, 2 owner.. as soon as she's out of the back office!, technically she's on the road currently, but fuel tanks out!

Australia here - I have one! Series 2 - 1978 1050L. The series 2 was never sold in Australia - mine was shipped over from the UK when the original owner emigrated.

It was my first car back in the late 90s. I sold it in 1999, but fate brought it back into my possession about 15 years ago... It's mostly been sitting in the back of the garage gathering dust ever since. It needs a lot of work, but I've decided it's now or never. Pulled the engine out this weekend and stripped down ready for machining and rebuilding.

Getting parts for a 1050 in Australia is impossible... So everything has to be ordered from Europe/UK. Shipping is looking ridiculously expensive.

A pic from years around 2010 when it first came back to me...

Great!, parts are getting rarer here too (uk) a lot I have had to bring in from italy, I may have a few mk2 parts here though so if you come up short by all means message me and I'll have a look through my boxes!

I am eager to know if there are any other 127 owners out there. I have one but they seem to be very rare now. Would like to talk to fellow owners past and present.
I have '76 LHD 127 Special imported from Germany that I bought as a 1 owner car. I only know of 2 others in South Africa and mine is now moved onto a trust / museum with occassional outings. Sorry no pics on hand.

There's not many left in the uk according to the DVLA .

Thanks @silvers!

Italian postage seems to be the most costly! Ricambio in the UK and the Oldtimer Shop seem to have most of what I need... And Trodo in Ireland.

Waiting on the engine reconditioning bloke to take a look now I've stripped it down - I think it's going to need some machining, so may need to get hold of some oversize bearings etc.

Body-wise it needs some (relatively minor) rust repair and panel beating, but all the parts are there. Wouldn't mind tracking down some replacement bumper ends as a couple of mine have seen better days. Engine mount bracket for the top gearbox mount is broken... again probably repairable, but a decent replacement would be good.

Other than that, it was smacked in the drivers side rear quarter panel at one point well prior to my ownership. Body was repaired, but it cracked the interior rear skin across the armrest. Someone in their wisdom also seems to have broken it further replacing the drivers seatbelt and a chunk is missing. I'm thinking a trimmer can probably patch it up and vinyl wrap it - sadly the best option I have. I see pairs of those panels available from Italy for about $800-odd AUD plus ridiculous postage (about half that in GBP). Seems excessive...

Years ago I started to get motivated to get started and ordered a few bits and bobs and put aside, but I kick myself now that I didn't order more when parts (and postage!) were cheaper and more abundant...
